Fenton Forrest Bramble

Fenton is very into pirates at the moment especially after having his face painted at the Madhouse the other day. Today we found a pirate mask in a book and I asked him what letter 'pirate' began with not expecting the correct answer but he answered "P!" It looks like he is getting to grips with the alphabet :)

This morning Lorien sneezed and Fenton said "Bless You Lorien!" He's definitely taking things in!

Whilst Lorien was crawling along the floor today Fenton decided that she should also be a tortoise so he put one of his empty toy crates on top of her. He thought that was very funny. Lorien did not!

I just love Fenton's great imagination...tonight he rolled himself into a ball on the floor and put his Bob the Builder helmet on his back and exclaimed "I'm a tortoise!" I also love his butterfly impression as he goes 'floating' around the room!

Today whilst walking back from the park Fenton suddenly shouted "Mummy's car!" at a passing car. Amazingly it was exactly the same make, model and colour of my car so I thought it was very clever of Fenton to think that it was mine! Luckily it was a different reg and my car was still sat on the drive when we got home :)

I wonder if Fenton is going to be some kind of entertainer when he's older as he loves making us all laugh! Tonight I showed him that sketch where you hide behind half of a wall and only show your hand, foot and head and then your head being pulled back by someone else's supposed arm! He couldn't wait to do his version but he didn't want to hide behind the wall because he wanted to watch us laughing. He had us in stitches and we gave him a round of applause!

Today we all went to Paulton's Park for the day with Granny. Fenton had a lovely time running around the playgrounds and going on the rides and Dunk and I were even able to go on some roller coaster rides whilst Granny watched the children. We all had a lovely time and will definitely go there again.

We had Lorien christened today at St Micheal's church. Fenton had us all in stitches in the church by spinning round a large cross on a pole and nearly knocking over a candle on a tall stand! Afterwards everyone came back to the house for a buffet and Fenton enjoyed running around in the garden with his friend Katelyn and cousins Ellie and Alex. It's been a fantastic day!

Since going to Joel's birthday party last week Fenton now likes to sing "Happy Birthday" to us and he tries wrapping up 'little gifts' in blankets and magazines as birthday presents!
