We've just come back from a long weekend in Devon. We went to Crealy Park one day where Fenton enjoyed a pony ride, driving electric cars and drop slides in the play zone. Another day we went to a place called Noah's Ark Zoo Farm where he loved watching the birds of prey flying around and he was brave enough to stroke the owl afterwards. He also got to feed the hungry lambs which had him in fits of giggles! All in all an excellent weekend!

Last week we decided to put Fenton in underpants during the day whilst we were at home. On the first day he went through 10 pairs of underpants but today he had the same pair of pants on all day. So proud of our litle boy - although at 3ft tall he is now half the size of Daddy and not so little!!

Today when I was putting Fenton's socks on him I pulled them up higher than I do normally. "Tights!" he suddenly said!! Obviously having a little sister is helping him learn some new words!!!

Yesterday in the midst of running round playing Fenton decided he wanted a wee and took himself off to the potty and today he managed to do a poo in there which is excellent progress. I've heard that potty training can take months and months but hopefully Fenton will get the hang of it quickly. It'd be great to have him out of nappies!

Today we decided to officially start potty training Fenton! He's been showing good signs for ages so it's about time! Day one went well and he did 7 wees in the potty although we did have to bribe him with sweets, cake and juice!! See what tomorrow brings!
