Fenton Forrest Bramble

Yesterday Rich went on holiday to Spain for a week and I told Fenton that he would be flying on a plane to get there. Today Fenton saw a plane in the sky and started waving his arms and saying "hello Rich!" Very sweet!

Fenton has been very good at using his potty during the day but today he did a poo in there aswell! When he stood up from the potty and noticed the small poo he looked worried and said "Uh Oh" repeatedly! It's probably the first time he's seen a poo so it must have been a surprise! You'll be pleased to know there is no photo to go with this journal entry ;)

Today I took Fenton to see Father Christmas for the first time. Whilst queuing up to get our photo taken I said "now when he asks what you'd like for Christmas, say 'a bike please!'" But as soon as he got into the sleigh his excitement got the better of him and he blurted out "Bike please" before being asked! Very cute!

Today our lovely little boy turned 2! Dunk took the day off from work and we took him to Cotswold Wildlife Park along with his Granny who is staying with us. He loved looking at all the animals and we even let him splash in a puddle seems it's his birthday! He received lots of birthday cards and presents. He's a lucky little boy!

Today Fenton had a party to mark his 2nd birthday and we invited some of his little friends round to help him celebrate. We played 'Bob the Builder' pass the parcel and the Spanish game where you hit the paper donkey with a stick until sweets fall out! We had lots of nice things to eat, including jelly and ice-cream and a Thomas the Tank Engine birthday cake. I think everyone had a lovely time!

Fenton can now count to 3 albeit backwards! Maybe he's been watching too much Lunar Jim, 3-2-1 and lift off!!!

Today I found Fenton playing peek-a-boo with Lorien. He was using one of our place mats to hide behind and I think he like the fact he could make her laugh. Definitely better than making her cry!
