Fenton Forrest Bramble

Since getting his trike Fenton has turned into a Hell's Angel - tearing around the house, chasing the cats and generally creating havoc! He loves his trike! Thanks to Yvonne & Chris for buying it for his birthday :)

Mummy bought me some slippers today because she thought that the wooden floors would be cold on my little feet first thing in the morning! They are Bob the Builder ones with 4 red flashing lights on the front of each one! They are so cool and I love them! Now first thing in the morning I give them to Mummy so she can put them on my feet!

Having missed out on a white Christmas Fenton was excited to find everything covered in a blanket of snow this morning. Not one to miss out on the situation, Fenton quickly donned his warmest artic explorer outfit and headed off to snowball the cats!!

Tonight I breast-fed Fenton for the last time! His bedtime drink will now be banana milkshake! The end of an era but feel very proud that Fenton was breast-fed until he was 14 months and never had to have formula.

Today Fenton and I were looking at a picture book and I asked him where the ball was expecting him to point to the picture of the ball. Instead he wandered off. "OK so he's had enough of the picture book." I said to myself but next minute he came back with a ball!! He's such a clever little boy!

To complete Fenton's recent trio of funky moves, he's now learnt how to spin around. Although it doesn't sound like a huge achievement, we're eagerly awaiting the funky dance routine he's so obviously been preparing for!

Not content with learning to walk backwards.. Fen's now walking crab style - Sideways! Very handy for squeezing in to that awkward gap - and then getting stuck!!!

Today Fenton has finally started to earn his keep! For over a year we have had to clean all his spillages and wayward food, but now he's learnt to clean up! After splattering his favourite milkshake all over the floor, he took a baby-wipe from Mummy's hand and cleaned every last drop. What a clever boy!
