Fenton Forrest Bramble

Tonight we moved Fenton into his nursery. It was lovely seeing the cot in the nursery - it looked like a proper babies room rather than just a room where we store Fenton's clothes! His first night didn't go too badly apart from waking up at 5am. The next night went better and he didn't wake up until 6.30am. It's great to be getting more sleep at last :)

For a while now Fenton has been able to retrieve a ball, kick a ball or roll it back to me but today he started throwing it over his head! His aim needs a bit of work though ;) Also if I ask him to bring me the ball he knows what I am asking and will go and get it. They do say that babies can understand a lot of words before they can begin to talk. I wonder what Fenton's first word will be!

I hadn't realised that when I was saying "no Fenton" when he was doing something wrong that I was shaking my head at the same time. Now when I tell him "no" he shakes his head frantically and giggles! I can't help but giggle aswell!
